anyone who rails against people that use drugs illegally as much as he has should get the very same punishment that he has been preaching. "lock up all drug offenders" To do any thing else would just be pure hypocrisy.

Rush should not go to jail for the Viagra problem but he should have been jailed long ago for the drug shopping guilty verdict he received which he was given a suspended sentence by a conservative judge.
He claims he was found innocent. I guess the Viagra explains why this guy won't go down.
From now on he should be known as Lush Limpball...hahahahaha! He'll be remembered as a stand up guy....hahahahaha!!

No...what a bunch of crap, I mean "come on" it was Viagra and even though he didn't have his name on it, it was a valid prescription. He had a problem with the pain medication and he got help for that problem. No he shouldn't have gone to jail for that either, It wasn't like he was "crazed druggie" looking for a fix, he wasn't robbing or stealing to support a habit. He did like a lot of people do when they start taking any kind of medication, he got dependent on it, some of that medication is addicting by the way. I think he's pissed someone off is why they keep trying to get him on these charges. I wonder who ?

As much as I dislike him this is a little stupid. How many people get Viagra from the doctor directly without even having a prescription. The answer is everyone who takes it. They give out the samples like candy. As long as his Dr. made note of it in his file then he hasn't done anything wrong. There is a huge difference between prosecution and persecution.

he's wealthy and influential with good legal experts, everybody who meets those requirement will walk free also. Being a republican extremely has little or no to do with it. until eventually you extremely screw up undesirable, and public opinion is going hostile to you, then you will do no time. besides, he helped my candidate win the presidency! in case you rant like a senseless madman lengthy sufficient, you'll make the persons you praise you look slightly cracked too. Palin for president in 2012! She desires to be the candidate for the republicans back. it is going to assure a democratic win back.

I believe he should get the same treatment you or I would get if we had prescription drugs in another persons name in our posession. I don't understand how he expects everyone to get on his side and listen to his points of view when in fact he can't set the example. His doctor (who's name it was in) should also be punished.

I don't think so. He must have gotten it FROM a doctor and thought he could spare himself some shame by having someone else's name on it. Remember, he is divorced so he must be doing stuff with girlfriends. (Bad, since he was always preaching morality and his own lifestyle is immoral.) Plus, you can tell they are out to humiliate him by making him seem like a hypocrite and horny pervert.....you can tell that more then one person wants him off the air.

Absolutely! Why couldn't he have just gone to the Dr. if he need Viagra? It's not like he can't afford health care. Chances are that wasn't the only drug he was using on his little vacation.

He should go to jail if he has broken any laws that require jail time. There are different degrees of criminal behavior. If he goes to jail...he should be sitting next to Winona Ryder...
