If he was in flesh and blood, I believe Jesus would go to the bars and whorehouses,to the slums of the city to the ghettos, and shack villages and poverty stricken nations of the world. Why?Because Jesus was and still is humble.People look down on the less fortunate and Jesus doesn't because each one of us is one of his brothers and he loves us more than you'll(or I)will ever know.He knows what its like to be poor and lonely and in a situation you don't want to be in but can't help it.So those are the places I believe Jesus would be.

Teach, talk, converse, work with those most in need, pay attention to those who want and need and will accept the attention. I do not think he would be a media-type, but would work in-person only with individuals or groups, as many "itinerant preachers" of all faiths and denominations still do today. You would probably find him hanigng out with hippies and the homeless as much as in churches.
In a metaphorical or allegorical way, Jesus is alive today, he is certainly "alive" in the sense of his teachings and thoughts being continuously discussed, and for all I know he is "really" alive in the flesh and blood mortal sense (either again or still).

He is alive today. He died for our sins, He was buried and rose again the third day for our justification. We serve a risen Lord that sit on the father right hand. Colossians 3: 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. You really don't want to be here when He comes to earth the second time. Revelation 19: 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Look around. Jesus is alive and well. If it were not for His love for you, you would not have a next breath.

I understand your question, eventhough we know he is alive, if he had come in this time, he would still die for us, because with his death he saved us from the sins of the past, present and future.
