Let her - you don't need that stress. If she wants things the way she wants them then let her do it (all of it). She of course will not realize the way she is being until after the wedding. She will apologize and you will be less stressed.

Have you talked with her mother? Maybe mom can keep the bride out of the way. Who's paying for the shower anyway?
The wedding plans should be for the bride to handle. The bridal shower is for the bridemaids to give to the bride which means the bride needs to just step back. If the bride has reservations about having a stripper due to children being invited to the shower, then honor that request. However, if she's trying to interfere with the theme, cake, party favors, food, etc. tell her that you've already made the arrangements and can't change anything. Hopefully you have support on this.

Tell her to knock it the Hell off or she can throw a shower for herself. Just because she is the bride doesn't give her the right to be over barring and a control freak. It's just a shower, she should be happy her friends and family want to be there for her.
I would tell her to back off or let her do the whole thing herself- and she can pay for it too!!

The poor girl is just scared out of her mind. Just tell or show her what you have done and ask her what else she thinks YOU need to do to have the bridal shower of her dreams

The best thing to do is to explain to the bride that this is her time for everything to be all about her. She has one day that is about her and she should allow everyone to pamper her. Take her opinions into considerations and make sure you use them and then tell her that there will be surprises and she sure doesn't want to ruin them.

This can be tricky if you have already talked to her. Have you already set a date? I would just tell her that you would like to plan this wedding shower because it is something you would like to do, tell her you would like to surprise her with everything. Then don't mention it at all when she is around. That is really the best you can do, you could also talk with her fiance so he can talk with her, she might listen to him, who-knows. Good luck.

Try and make her think that your ideas are her ideas. If that doesn't work then let her go. It will be easier for you.
