You can not experience what anything is without having an opposite experience...tall is not tall without short....light is not light without darkness...happy is not happy without sad...If God was nothing but light he would have to create what he is not for me to know him when I see him...My question is simple, is it possible that it is all God's creation and that we should just show appreciation for the WHOLE Experience and by showing Gratitude and Appreciation that is all he wants from us....?

The Hindu scriptures state that we are spirit souls which are neither created nor destroyed - therefore the first thing to understand here is that God did not create us we have always been existing. However, the Hindu scriptures also explain that God is altogether more superior to the infintesimal souls. God created the material universe so that the souls could try to enjoy life separately from him.
It is also explained in the Hindu scriptures that the material creation is a poor reflection / mirror image of the spritiual world. Thus we can gather from this that this material world provides all the opposites found in the spiritual world, i.e. darkness, sin etc. This is why the spiritual world is described as self luminous not requiring any sun/moon/stars whereas the earth needed a sun and moon to brighten things up and regulate seasons etc.

First, God has said in the bible that he created everything, so it must all be his creation. But it is not all his invention. He created the molecules, but when man rearranges things by science that is not God's creation. However, back to the subject. He doesn't want us just to be appreciative and 'grateful' in any word only sense. The best appreciation and gratitude we can have is to live love, live and enjoy the wonderful life he can give us. Love one another and manifest his power to everyone around. Then we will be fulfilling his desire for us and having fun at the same time.

Sure we should show graittude in every situation...God can make everything work together for the greater good.
Yes you are right about God creating the opposite for us to experience Him. That is why I believe that no matter how much I go and testify the love God has shown me through sacrifice of His only son Jesus Christ, there are still going to be people that will spend eternity in hell, by their own choice of course.
We would have never experienced Gods love for us through Jesus Christ if there wasn't any bad in this world. I don't believe in the death penatly, but if it never existed then WE wouldn't have a savior.
I find that the most trying and difficult times is when I experience God the most, it is amazing how wonderful He truly is!

Yes God created everything. Even Hell came about because Lucifer could not abide by Gods rules. He gave you the rules "the Ten Comandments". Gratitude and Appreciation is not all he wants from us. God is to be First and foremost in our lives, everything else is second place. You really should read the Bible,you would find the answers to your questions there.

God of the bible isnt about love hes about war and diversions amoung people if you really want to experience god then find another religion that doesnt follow a book like spirituality or some thing that teachs equality between all people and animals alike. if people want to believe in the bible god fine but i will warn you its a dark path you walk on

There is still evil which Satan created. We experience the evil from Satan and mean people. That's why God is there to spread the light in a world that is dark.

I think you have a good point. I have been trying to fight sadness and hate by becoming "sad" and by "hating", but it never works.
So now when the universe brings me sadness, I fight it by becoming happy and when people show me hate, I show them love. I feel good now, and my life seems to have become a mystical puzzle full of enjoyment. The more I practice this exercice of fighting negatives with positives, the less "sadness" and "hate" comes my way. So yes, I think God brings us negative, so we can learn how to become positive.

Yes thats all He wants from us he is so generous and giving He just wants to share and share and share ... think of it this way His love is never ending its so much you cant fathom and when you have loves like that for someone what can you not do for them. Jesus loves you.
