My daughter wants to learn new recipes

You know, there aren't that many good cookbooks out there for kids. I have looked. A lot of them have hokey recipes for stuff I don't even think I would eat. I remember one from a book I had as a kid -- Peanut Butter and Balogna Ribbons -- where you made a PB sandwich on one side, and used Mayo and cut the balogna into strips and placed on the other.

What my grandmom did was let me look through her cookbook, and pick out what I thought might be nice to make. It really helped me in learning how to cook practically and I got to spend time with her that I cherish now very dearly.

Perhaps there is someone in your life that might be able to teach your daughter a recipe. Otherwise, pick one Saturday a month that she can help you make a family dinner! Or look at the back of many packaged items in your home. They always have good ideas!

I am a Pampered Chef consultant, and we have lots of options for kids. We have a recipe search on our main website, that has a kid-friendly section. We also offer a cookbook designed for kids called Let's Eat that has a laminated cover and stain resistant pages.

For more info on this book, other products, or consulting, visit

Hope this helps!
