Take them to the movies, have a movie marathon, make a play/puppet show with them, colour, draw, paint, make a fort, do some reading, play some cards, sing, dance, take a nap, play with them in the rain, teach them how to bake something, do some crafts with them (noodle necklaces painted, etc), so many options.

Try making root beer floats or get a bunch of chocolate products and watch the old Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The old one is a lot better.

Build a fort in the family room! Take them to chuckie cheese or a movie. Bake cookies together.

I have 2 girls and we make crafts. We put salt in bowls the other day and added food coloring and then baked it in a shallow pan to make glitter. I have got a great book of crafts if you want to e-mail me. Some of them are Beauty bath Bars, homemade glue, ,juggling balls, invisible writing etc.

My 9 & 11 year old love to play this card game called apples to apples junior. Look for it in Target or any other toy store you have around.

sounds like they don't really want to do anything, rainy days are good days for kids to clean their rooms... bake cookies, rent a movie, and make popcorn...

give them umbrellas and teach them the song, "Singing in the rain" lol..... or take them skating, movies, wal-mart, something.
