First of all in a relationship there should always be TRUST and COMMUNICATION don't believe what other people tell u go up to ur gurl ask her yourself what happen at the party then u could decide if she tellin the truth or lying

You can do what the other people have already said, talk to her and check out her tone and body language. Personally, I don't think people will be just making that up. So, if she wants to go back to her ex, then let her. What is she doing at a party without you anyway? Life is too short to play with sh*t like that.....dump her and find a better girl. Maybe I'm cynical, but you shouldn't believe what people tell you because everyone has something they want out of what they say. Maybe to see you break up with her or whatever. Or they don't like her? You never know.
Ask her what happened. Actually listen to what she says and then get the word from some of your closer friends that saw her. Make your choice off that. If someone's going to mess around on you, then they're not worth being with. It's hard to accept, but overall it's true.
I trust people to break my trust. I expect people to disappoint me. That way you're rarely surprised.

You shouldn't trust her. If people are saying that more stuff happened you honestly need to find out. I mean why in the world would she go and dance without you being there.
