He either likes you or he is just nice and will talk to you. I know here at work, if you see someone in the hallway, you usually say hi even if you do not think they are hot.

It could mean several things. It would depend on how he is talking to you. Check out his body language and keep an eye on your own! Good luck but don't forget to use common sense. Just because he is hot does not mean he is a good person. Use good judgment and he can only respect you and that will go further than looks any day. And don't forget to have fun with it!
