Seeing as it wasn't too long ago that I was 13, I understand how you feel. Here's what you need to understand: At this age, a lot of guys are still very immature. If you would like to date, understand that it won't really be "dating." It will probably be more like, "You're my boyfriend and I'm you're girlfriend. Now what?"
Here's the best advice I can give you if you do decide that you want to date: Set boundaries. Make sure that the guy knows very clearly where your boundaries are, then keep them.

If you decide to go on a date, ask the guy to bring along one of his friends and you take along one of yours. (This can be more fun than going without them and I have hilarious stories to prove it!)

You're too young to date, yes. But I can't stop you from having a boyfriend. I just hope my advice will help you.

Good luck to you in the future. : )

To take it from me i am 18 and thirteen is too young. When i was your age i made some mistakes when i was 13 and now i wish i could have waited on some choices. Your still a young girl and trust me you have the rest of ur teenage years. Dont rush your life ...live it to the fullest and do what you love to do now because in a few years you may not enjoy the same things.

I think you are too young. Besides you shouldn't rush into that sort of thing, you have a long life of responsibility in front of you, just enjoy being 13 cause when you are almost 30 you'll wish you were 13 again. :)

well, actually I started dating when I was 13, (almost 14).... I was even dating a 17 year old! Now, several years later... we are still together. But then again I was very mature for my age and he was very much and still is a gentle man... not like most teenage boys. I would have to say it is a matter of maturity and who you want to date more than age.

if u honestly think u r mature enough.
do u think u would know what 2 do if u were pressured into something u rn't ready 4.
if u think you can do that then i say go 4 it.
make sure someone knows about it.
don't just go off, you may not come back and nobody would know.
Make sure you REALLY know the guy.
what he says may not be true.
Good luck!

Well, I'm 15, and I've got a great relationship with my gf. It's possible that you find the guy you love at 13 and grow old with him, but don't have a boyfriend that you wouldn't marry.

No. You guys could do fun stuff together, like go to the park for casual walks and go see movies. Maybe just don't call him your boyfriend. Kisses on the cheek (face) and hands only. Short hugs are fine. Just don't rush things.

At that age, your most concern should be your studies. Let me see if you are ready.

You are ready if you do these list at least.

Talk to your parents for having a boyfriend and seek their advice.

Follow their rules(one of them is NO sex, no kiss on lips yet at your age[you know you can get a lot of germs on kissing], just holding hands).

Don't let your studies affect it.

If your parents said no, be responsible to abide their rules.
