Someone who never lies, will always lie, but never admit. Especially, if you are taught never to question their honesty. Agreed? (in order for it to work the person has always, always think one way and one way only, which explains atheists which are those who see from another angle)

This is not always true. Atheists can be just as dogmatic as Christians. The underlying problem with the Bible isn't the Bible itself, but the fundamentalist interpretation of it. People that believe in a literal interpretation of the book are easy targets, as this creates several hypocrisies. Beyond that if people would just try reading the book for themselves and actually trying to emulate the life of Christ the world would be much the better for it.
"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians, they are so unlike your Christ" Gandhi. On a side note, God did lie, to Abraham, and Job. You people really should read the book.

No, I don't agree. You're taking a person at one extreme and placing them all the way over at the other extreme. Extremes are rarely accurate. Someone who says they never lie is probably lying, but that doesn't mean they always lie. That would be nearly impossible.

I would find it hard to believe you assertion that the Bible would then contain nothing but lies.

If you believe that truth doesn't exist, then yes. But that wouldn't make any sense because if I told you I had brown hair (and I actually do), would that be a lie? No! The Bible says plainly that God CANNOT lie. It doesn't make any sense to say that he can't lie, but he actually does and doesn't admit it. The Bible says that murder is wrong. Is that a lie?

no. everything that has happened in the bible came true. and everything that the bible says that's going to happen in the future will also happen, even if you want to deny it or not. God's word is the bible. you'll soon discover that the bible never lies because God never lies.

To say that the Da Vinci Code is all rubish is a lie, agreed?

So should we question your honesty? If you are honest all the time, then according to you we actually can't believe you. If you're not honest all the time, what makes you exempt from questioning? Why are you the absolute standard?

What?

We all see from one angle or another, and to assume Christians have not questioned their faith, or looked into another, and sought out answers is just silly. (Some yes, but not all)

truth about what?

how many books have been written that "explain" what the bible truly tells us?

it's an interesting inquiry.

the bible is full of contradictions. instead of thinking of it as absolute truth, consider it a book of stories attempting to teach some lessons in life. every one has their own "truth",what is real to them.
