Yes, it is estimated that nearly 15 percent of them are. However only a few have come out of the closet, because of fear from their religion. 15 percent of 1 billion whetever they got, thats alot of gay/lesbians.

the koran or any religious book can say whatever it wants. If someone is gay, they are gay.

What's a high percentage? Based on a poor reading of Kinsey's statistics, which were flawed at best, the percentage of exclusive homosexuals has been estimated to be 10%. Other studies have shown it be closer to 15%, so the 15% appears to be about average. The percentage of men who have had at least one homosexual experience is much higher, and many people seems to think that "one swallow doth a summer make," whether or not they swallow.

It's certainly not higher than the percentage of people with official jobs in Christian churches, which is estimated at about 30%.. Of course, in Christian churches there is also a higher percentage of pedophiles than in the population at large, which is a different matter altogether, but aren't they both in contradiction with Biblical teachings? Historically, however, many gay men have been attracted to working in the church. Go figure.

I cannot understand how can you say this about any community. Please explain your source.
Also all the Holy books, including Koran & Bible, orders its followers not to engage in sex outside marriage. And that with your opposite sex. Now even if you want to be a gay, you wont be one as this is not right according to your religion. Like you cannot do sex out side your marriage even if you want to. You cannot steal anything even if you want to. you cant break your promises even if you want to. So when you accept a religion, there are some rules you have to follow.
So please explain your sourse. Which I am sure is not a good one.
Than even if a muslim is gay, he is not following his religion in this respect, just like if he is stealing or doing other crimes.

Yes, they have to keep it quiet of course for there are severe consequences sometimes. Google Trends shows that the most internet searches for gay sex come from Muslim theocracies...something doesn't add up between the public face of Islam and the private lives of those under it's oppressive rule.

First, your statistics of gay Muslims correlates to the statistics for gays in the world's general population, so it's not really that astonishing. Second, engaging in gay sex is ALSO against Christian and Jewish rule, but you still find gays there.

As to why, most are born that way, while others are born open to either path and their lives dictate which they choose, if they choose. Me? I don't choose. Straddling the fence feels good.

This sounds like Racial profiling to me. I think there are all kinds of people in every Religion. But all religions say you should be kind to others and not judge them as that is for God to decide.
