A conversation - for me I am talking to God - if you have a relationship with someone and never talk to them what happens to that relationship. It is a way of keeping a freshness in your relationship with God. I do it because it helps me and is my sanirty.

Prayer is when a person talks to God. It is when they ask for help or thank him for what he has done. It is very personal and no one's experience of prayer is exactly the same because all Christians have different needs. God may not answer prayer like we would like him too but he answers it all the same.

God answers prayer
1 Samuel 1:17 - "Eli answered, "Go! I wish you well. May the God of Israel give you what you asked of him."
God hears our prayers
1 Kings 9:3-5 - "The LORD said to him: "I have heard your prayer and what you have asked me to do. You built this Temple, and I have made it a holy place. I will be worshiped there forever and will watch over it and protect it always.
2 Chronicles 1:9-10 - "Now, LORD God, may your promise to my father David come true. You have made me king of a people who areas many as the dust of the earth. Now give me wisdom and knowledge so I can lead these people in the right way, because no one can rule them without your help."
We can pray anywhere at any time
Nehemiah 2:2-5 - "So the king said, "Why does your face look sad even though you are not sick? Your heart must be sad." Then I was very afraid. I said to the king, "May the king live forever! My face is sad because the city where my ancestors are buried lies in ruins, and is gateshave been destroyed by fire," Then the king said to me, "What do you want?" FirstI prayed to the God of heaven. Then I answered the king, "If you are willing and if I have pleased you, send me to the city in Judah where my ancestors are buried so I can rebuild it."
The LORD helps us
Psalm 40:13 - "Please, LORD, save me. Hurry,LORD, to help me."
!!!!GOD LOVES YOU!!!!

Prayer is talking with God. It is just like talking with a friend and you can do it out loud or silently. We do it because we want to thank Him for what He has done or to ask for something either physical or just for greater knowledge of Him.

Use Matthew 6:9 as guide to pray to God. You should begin your prayer "Our Father who is in Heave..."
But, prayer is talking to God. Talk to him, If you can't pray out loud talk to him in your mind. God can hear your mind.
Psalm 139:23.

Prayer is when you pray to God. There are many things to pray for. For example, forgiveness, praying that you have family, friends, a house, and that you're fortunate. There are people who have nothing. You can pray for anything. As long as you think it's okay with Jesus. Pray to Jesus because he wants you to talk to him.

prayer is simply talking to God... the way u do it just like if you are talking to ur best friend... u dont need any fancy words just talk to him like u would do a friend.. let him know whats wrong what u feel and just give thanks for everything... talk to him from ur heart... the reason why its good to do it is because if it wasnt for God u wouldnt be here so why not worship the creator of the universe

Prayer is simply communicating with God.
Talk to Him just like you would talk to your closest friend.
He will direct your path.
Our Father who art in heaven. Hollowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who tresspass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, the glory forever. Amen
