You can get really cool wavy /curly hair if you plait hair when half wet into 5 plaits, two at each side and one at back and sleep in them, it the morning undo and use a wide comb to brush through, it has a really good effect especially for those who have straight hair or very little natural wave.

when I want to curl my hair, I usually use Garnie Fruitics mouse after I take a shower at night. I apply it on when my hair is wet so it doesnt get too fizzy ( Like it does when you put it on when u have dry hair). Then when I wake up the next morning it is curly but i put some more in to give it an extra bounce!

Braiding your hair when it's slightly damp and sleeping in braids can give you small waves. You can also twist your hair into small buns, and get larger waves. Really, curlers are the best way to go, but there are other ways to get less defined curls.

this is simple all you have to do is wash your hair with shampoo, note do not use conditioner! and towel dry then using loreal paris studio line hot curl spray or general hairspray.
spray a fine layer over your hair and scrunch.
you can use a defuser but its ok if you havent got one.
then all you have to do is on a low setting blow dry your hair while scrunching.
to make things easier i use a hairband or clips to hold scrunched sections to my head and apply heat.
after you just untie and the curls will be really defined and look amazing on you.
hope this helped

You can use a straightening iron and twist it gradually and it'll come out curled.
Or you can scrunch it with mousse and gel when you get out of the shower.
Other then that, you can get a curly perm

you can get wavy/curly hair by washing your hair at night then putting it up into a tight bun. when you wake up if it is not dry.blow dry your hair (still up in a bun). Then take out the bun and you should have wavy hair.

you can use your flat iron and "twist" some waves or loose curls in.

as far as using NO TOOL whatsoever to get curls, if you don't have a natural wave or slight curl to it or body, that's difficult. However, if you do have a natural wave, then let your hair airdry, use a sculpting foam for curls (like paul mitchell sculpting foam) or a curling gel (like Nolita Grit Gel) and scrunch and go.
