A family friend's grandson has a neuralblastoma. The kid is 4 years old. The kid has already lost vision in one eye and use of the same side. He's had two operations already. The entire tumor needs to be removed because it's growing too quickly. The doctors that operated on him don't want to remove the whole tumor becuase they believe that removing it all will do more harm than good. They've already deemed a certain part of it imoperable. Is there any neurosurgeon who I can contact who might be willing to operate on this kid? Doctors have already told the mom to take him to Disneyland and everywhere he wants to go because his time is numbered.

Get in touch with St Judes Children's Hospital in Tennessee. (stjudes.org ) They treat and research all pediatric cancers REGARDLESS of the family's ability to pay. More important, they never give up hope.

wow, im so sorry to hear that..unfortuntely , if the Doctors operate on him , they will either leae him brain dead or he'd probably even die on the table....is that something you can live with for your selfishness??
i mean, somtimes things happen...and the moment your born , you start to die...everyone has their time...please tell the family to come to their senses and just make the rest of his live as happy as possible, you guys will all be together again..
would you rather he live his last weeks in the hospital in o and out of surgery? or actuall have a blast ?
think about it......you are beng selffish,... GOD has plans for everyone, whether its at 1 yrs old.. or 100...... he has his plan
Let it work... please.... dont push the kid in another surgery, PLEASE
