5oz. of cooked meat? Is it the size of the palm of my hand or a thin slice of lunch meat? I know I need a scale but I don't have one now. Thank you

if this is for a recipe that specifically asks for 5 oz of meat then i wouldn't even try guessing at it. go to the store and buy a scale.

my only guess with out a scale would be to compare to the size of a 4 oz baby bottle, wish is the small baby bottle, and then add a liitle to that, good luck

If you think of a thin slice of ham that will fit onto an ordinary slice of bread as one ounce, five ounces will or should be close to five such slices..............
