Yoga (the ashtanga/power version), pilates, doing a cardio activity that targets those muscles (boxing or rowing for upper body, a kick-intensive martial art like TKD for lower body)
Swimming (but this is very time-intensive, since you'll need at least an hour a day hardcore to really note the difference quickly.
Horseback riding for the legs.
It's still going to hurt, and it won't be as quick as lifting :-)

wouldn't that be the best..muscles without gym time..it's not possible to gain muscle mass without lifting weights..toning what you have, now that's another story. push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups and lunges will add definition to the major muscle groups you already have. good luck

If you don't want to lift to gain muscle, then I guess you won't get it. You have to exercise. They have dumb bells that are usually pretty light, but just enough to work muscles. Good Luck

that's virtually impossible--
because you must tire your muscles somehow--if you want muscles to grow more--without the stimulation of the fibers--you can't expect them to recover and grow stronger
if you don't want to lift weights--you would have to do isometric exercises--like pushups, weightless squats, lunges without weights--
bottom line is if you want more muscles--you have to challenge your muscles and fatigue them--so without lifting, you would have to find some other way
