Make a video tape of photos of him growing up then have photos of you growing up then photos of you 2 together set to music. My cousin did that at their wedding reception & it was so touching. Her new groom had no idea. She had hers professionally done. It was a huge hit with everyone, including the groom! And it will make a nice keepsake for you both! Good luck and God bless! : )

I hope you're planning this well in advance of your wedding:

Whether or not you can sing (You're going to be the bride, and everyone will think it's charming anyway!), determine his favorite song. You should actually already know this, if you're getting married. As an alternative, you might choose a song that has special significance to the two of you, perhaps the song you had your first dance to. A perfect alternative might be a devotional song acceptable within the church. Whatever you select, please make sure you perform it appropriately, and in not too sexy a manner (if you are marrying within the church). Perhaps it might be better to do this at the reception.

Then, seek out a professional voice coach. Have several lessons with them to learn the song very well. Then, have them record the accompaniment track (whether piano, organ, guitar, synthesizer, etc.) onto dvd or cassette tape.

After your cue at the point at either the wedding or reception, serenade your husband with all your heart. He'll always remember it, and it may bring tears to his eyes....hopefully, tears of joy!

Another option that would most certainly be welcome within the body of the ceremony is scripture reading in memory of beloved departed family.

When we were married, a very dear relative had passed away several days before. Her funeral was the day before our wedding, and her daughter and grandson were wedding participants. In addition, her son and older daughter were still present as guests to my wedding.

We incorporated scripture readings in her memory, which were read by the pastor and two other family members. You might honor loved ones in his family--living or dead--in this manner. It will likely mean a lot to you both.

Surprises don't always happen right at wedding. Just give him a nice gift at the rehearsal dinner or maybe give him the best gift at the night of the wedding. Or if you can't do that give him some kind of surprising book for that night.

wear pink
BRIGHT pink

well, i have a few suggestions, but it relly depends on your future husband's liking. Like in the movie Love Actually, you can ask a group of choirs to suddenly appear (from the balcony or among the last rows of the chairs) and sing your husband's favourite song or "your song" as you walk from the altar. you can also suprise your hubby by decorating the party with a theme from his favourite movie (james bond or star trek and so forth) and have the band wearing the main character's costumes. if he is an animal lover, you can ask the flower girls to bring along a cat to walk with them (dogs can be a little bit of a hassle) or you can ask the priest to put up a suprise of his own (like a funny sentence like the one when he announces the "anybody who doesn't agree" part, he would say out "oh, yes, the lady in red" or "oh, do you know that girl in the mini skirt, sir? she just raised her hand". Anyways, good luck and CONGRATULATIONS to both of you!

Surprises are not good on wedding days, when everyone is counting on everything to go right. Get him a nice gift and give it to him on the rehearsal dinner night. Congrats!

What's he like? What are his favorite things?
One of my friends surprised her new hubbie (a sci-fi fan) by having them play the Star Wars march at the end of the ceremony instead of the Wedding March.

depends on how you want to surprise him... fun, sexy, what??

you could take control of "the kiss" and wow him with something new

here is a good one.... put your garter on way way up there--- i'm taking at your "you know" and dont' wear any underwear... when he keeps reaching he will really get a big surprise!

if you are talking about a gift-- i would do that the night before the wedding or on the way to the honeymoon...

it realy depends on what type of surprise you are talking about.

My best friend just got married and she suprised her husband by reading a poem before walking down the aisle. He didnt know she was going to do it and it was really sweet because it was the same poem that her mom read to her dad.

At the wedding - don't surprise him
After the wedding - have your first dance to his fav song
In the bedroom - pick out something rather wedding-like but naughty
