You have the hit REM sleep to dream. If you're not dreaming, you're not hitting your deepest phase of sleep, therefore, you're not getting the greatest rest. Get a more comfortable mattress, pillow, etc. Some people say that eating ice cream before you sleep helps you dream, but too much will make you fat like a cow!

You dream every time you sleep, you just can't remember it all the time. Keep a note pad by your bed and jot down the first thing you remember when you wake up, this will help you remember a lot of dreams that you would've otherwise forgotten. Also, make a mental note to remember your dreams BEFORE you fall asleep....it really works!! If you get good then you can even pick what you want to dream about! Sweet dreams.

That means you haven't been sleeping!!!!.....it's a matter of remembering what you actually dreamt....the brain is always active even when you sleep, so im pretty sure you have had dreams but you don't remember and those dreams are actually gonna come true, has that not happened to you???...that all of a sudden you are doing something or somewhere and it feels you have done that before or been there before???...those are dreams come true!!!!

Oh, you've dreamt--you just don't recall them. As we dream we naturally bounce up and down between the different phases of sleep, and we only dream when we're at the REM stage. If you're desperate to recall a dream and you're willing to sacrifice a good night's sleep, try this. Go to bed at a decent time, like 10pm for example. Then set your alarm for about three hours prior to the time you normally wake up. You'll most likely be in REM sleep at this point, and waking up directly from REM sleep will give you the greatest chance of remembering your dream. If you adhere to a normal schedule of sleeping/waking, your body remembers this, and naturally slips into successively lighter stages of sleep as we approach our usual wake-up time. As a result, by the time we wake up enough time has passed since our last REM phase that the dream has long since faded from memory. You will only recall dreams that have happened within about ten minutes prior to waking up, and then only if you wake directly from REM.

Dreams occur all the time, but you should get a lot of sleep, and you will remember them better. You have to sleep for a certain amount of time before you go into your REM cycle, when you begin to dream. If you do not get enough sleep, you may not be going into the REM cycle and not remember dreams. This information could be completely incorrect but its all I can remember from high school pyscology!!

I can answer this one because I actually did my final speech on sleep. Pretty much, you have to sleep deeply in order to dream. If you listen to the radio or watch T.V. while falling asleep then you aren't going to dream. Also, exercising before bed will keep you up longer and make it take longer for you to reach a deep sleep. So yeah, I uh hope you dream tonight.

how do you dream??who knows??
but that is not about what you want ,is about what your mind does by himself without asking us
most of the times we don't remember the dreams and a lot of times the dreaming phases can be under influence of medicines ,alcohol, drugs, or there can be sleep disorders that can be check by a doctor
if your Q is just for fun read a good book before bed time and that can help

yeah everyone dreams everynight but not every night are you going to remember. usually if i get woken up like from my alarm clock in the morning , ill forget it in a minute unless you actually take a second to think about it before you jump out of bed. i have always been real interested in dreams . most of the time they make no sense alot of times their funny. i used to write down my dreams every morning. then i never forget them. the weirdest was when i was actually watching me.. like watching a home vidio of yourself! another time me n my friend had the same dream!

me too.i dont even have dreams. i dont know whats wrong with that. i use to dream i was in a play ground and i started running and as i was running i begane to fly. a teacher once told me that you have to tell your self i want to dream and think about dreaming before you sleep. good luck. i am afraid to dream because the last dream i had was scary. all that happense is that its as if i droped from a high place and fell on the bed. sometimes it feels as if i triped while i was sleeping and i fall on the bed, then i wake up and i am scard.

When I dream, I don't see things like most people do. I hear music! Weird, huh? I've never met anyone else who heard music in their sleep before, so maybe I'm the only one......
I'm sorry about your lack of dreams, but you really don't need to get stressed out about it!
