I've been in your shoes, and it's not easy. I had a friend commit suicide after we graduated high school, and he didn't call or try in get in touch with me in any way. I was pissed at him for years, but then I realized that being pissed off at him wasn't going to do anything, and it obviously wasn't making me feel any better.

I'm sure that if she had asked for your help, you would have provided it to the best of your ability. Don't beat yourself up over this.

You can't blame yourself and neither can anyone else hold you responsible. If you are troubled by this get in touch with someone you can talk to, you will need more help than you can get on this forum. Try the Samaritans, they are trained to listen to people with problems and it might help to speak to a real person.

hey, this isnt ur fault, there was nothing u could have done 2 change the way things have turned out. stop blaming urself, i'm sure thats not what ur friend would have wanted. talking about how ur feeling is always good, its better out than inside and eating away at u.
good luck. :)

don't feel like this was your fault, it wasn't! you couldn't have stopped her at that point. i'm sure you helped her to the best of your ability. unfortunately some people are hard to help and you feel helpless but you weren't.

She made her own decision and if she had wanted you to help she would have come to you sooner.
