The Protestant Reformation was of course started in the Renaissance by Martin Luther (no relationship to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr) and was basically a new version of Christianity. The scriptures were not made up when the Protestant branch of Christianity but instead some of the actual transcripts from the Bible and Gospel that we today in your average Catholic church. The movement to reform the church came after popes and other clergy were abusing their rights to power (ex. the Papal States) and other things were happening in the church like bishops were selling the rights to their offices and so on and so forth.

The origins of Christianity are based in Judaism. The people that wrote the Tora/Bible were Jews and even Jesus was Hebrew. Therefore, how could any verse in the "scripture" be considered a "Christian" verse, Catholic or Protestant?

No verse is a Protestant verse. The Bible is the Bible. Of course, the Catholic Bible has some books in it (called the Apocrypha) which the Protestant Bible doesn't. So I guess you could call those "Catholic" verses I suppose.

Bible verses should not be referred to as Protestant, or Catholic, or any other denomination. But the Protestants sometimes use different versions or translations than Catholics. And Catholics rarely read the Old Testament.

You see, no verse in the Bible is Cathloic or Protestant or anything but the truth. The difference between all the types of Christians is just the way they worship, rituals, level of conservativeness, etc. In other words, every word of it is true.
Good Question!

Verses aren't Catholic or Protestant............God's word is for all who believe. Christianity is not a denomination. Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus.
