Why can we see other people and can not see ourself? Why can we use our own mind to think?

What is sound of one hand clapping?

I don't know honey, I'm just trying to find out what you're upset about.

In China, I had a small translator.

I would enter a question in English.

My lady would read the translation, and respond.

The answer would come back sounding like a Zen riddle.

Some words were spelled wrong, but most were clear. Yet the sentences were hard to decipher.

Because our eyes are part of our body, looking outward maybe? I can look down and see from my chest down, but I have to look in a mirror to see my whole self - it's basic biology. It's the way our eyes work.

And whose mind would we use if not our own? We'd have to be telepathically inclined somehow to use someone's mind other than our own.

What strange questions.

You can see other people and not yourself because God designed you to live for the sake of others, not just for yourself. So stop thinking so much and get out and do something for someone else today!

I see myself in perfect clarity. All it takes is knowing yourself and not being afraid to confront the aspects that make you-YOU.

Looking at other people and seeing part of you in them...is one one to confront your insecurities, demons, etc...

Our Self?

The Self?

Otherwise: look in a mirror, it is like a leak into the universe

Because LOVE for one's self can be easily corrupted. I mean we are already VAIN per opinions, so if we really had that concept, we would be evl from top to bottom.
