Enraged is a more appropriate reaction. War is the ultimate horror. Unfortunately, it has been a necessary evil throughout history. An unnecessary one as well! The current war in Iraq conforms to the latter and not the former. What a reckless and disdainful waste!
The ignorance of so many of my fellow Americans is what frightens me. Allowing the perpetuation of this administration (i.e. a 2nd term), to recklessly and capriciously disregard not only international law, but the 'laws of the land', i.e. the Constitution, is inconceivable! Failure to hold this administration accountable is disgraceful as well as shameful.

That's what makes me want to weep!

Why don't you Americans get out of the country and let the Iraqi's handle their own problems? Imagine your country in the Iraqi's place, would you like to be rescued by conquering hero's (actually villains with a false cause- where are the WMD's?).

And if you are dying, you are also killing, and killing unarmed civilians too. Well it's your own elected Representatives that sent you out to do the kill, what did you expect, the natives would be too terrified to shoot back?

Would your countrymen react passively to invaders?
Look at any country that the US has interfered in-they end up destroying it completely- be it Vietnam or Afghanistan or Iraq - why doesn't the US of A start minding it's own country?

You'll only end up making the world hate you country more, and that'd be a pity, for it is one of the greatest countries in the world after mine though!

I am not an Iraqi or Muslim for your info.

It's sad isn't it. It doesn't seem fair and yes I know war isn't fair but at least in a just war you can sort of rationalize casualties. In a war like this one that seems to have no end, you can't rationalize the deaths of thousands of soldiers. This war shouldn't have happened and now they (the soldiers) are paying for the president's incompetance and lies. And no it wasn't just the president. It was Congress that did this too. I'm not a fan of the president but too many people are putting all the blame on him...Congress did it too. (And I'm liberal btw)

It is horrible, I know. And yes, I weep for all those who lost their life, or a loved one so that I can sleep freely at night, and pray to the God of my choice and read or speak garbage if I wish. But we cannot expect to go to war and there be no casualties. That is what I respect so incredibly about the men and women who VOLUNTEER to serve their country! They know, fully understand that there is a very high possibility that they will see "action" while they serve....yet they volunteer everyday! God bless all of you who serve, have served, know someone serving or have lost someone special during their tour of duty. It takes a very special individual to be able to view photos of tortured, maimed or deceased bodies and still be willing to enlist.

I'm just relived it wasn't another naked picture of your mom on the internet. Those are so nasty they make me weep. The one with the donkey gave me nightmares.

It just angers me that our Pres. and his band of thugs lied to get us ito a "war" for personal reasons, without regard for the American people!
