Why do brothers never talk to their brothers about their issues the way that sisters do?

I was talking to a friend of mine and he said that he never talks to his brothers about his personal issues and it got me wondering if that was normal. So guys is it normal.

With men, it's different. A lot of us feel that we can't truly express ourselves, or we'll look like wimps. As men, most of us feel that we have to be macho about it, and not let others know, or else it may show a sign of weakness. They feel if their weakness shows, that they won't be respected by their peers and their friends may start to disrespect him.

Men don't seem to communicate the way women do. They have proven that women used about 3x the amount of words a man does anyway. They seem to be programmed to keep everything inside, whereas women have the need to just talk about every little detail and work things out that way. That is also why women often outlive men. It's not good to hold things in!

It is not all about the gender.

It is all about the relationship you have with your brothers and sisters. Brothers talk to their brothers if they have a good relationship. There are many sisters that don't talk about their issues with their sisters if they don't get along or have very much in common.

We do all the time girl. We just can't remember it the next day. But seriously though. We will have at least one brother that we can vent upon but men don't want to sit around hearing anybody (male or female) bellyache unless it's a life or death situation..

Mostly, Brothers don't believe brothers, as they think that his brother will tell the secret or anything else to his friends............

Some do, some don't. My Bro and I often exchange important issues with each other.

Too Macho. I have experienced this as well, they are just not able to open up and be vulnerable.
