i have been working out for 4 weeks, 5 days a week. I do cardio (switch between running, elliptical and swimming) and weights. I have been eating more healthy, cut out soda and drinking tons of water every day. When can I expect to notice a change? I weighed myself last night and I have not lost ANY weight! I am not a big girl (5'3" and I weigh 148 pounds). I am not expecting to lose 15 pounds in a week but I expected at least a 2 lb a week loss. I haven't even noticed a change in the way my clothes fit.

you may be eating healthy but you may be taking in too many calories. i believe on average a women requires around 1200-1500 calories a day. keep in mind to lose weight you need to burn excess calories (ie more than what you take in). one pound is about 3500 excess calories.
you may not see a change on the scale but there may be a change in you body. get a calculation of your BMI now and again in a few weeks.
MISCONCEPTION!! muscle does not weigh more than fat...it is more DENSE!! you may have increase some muscle mass in your body and thats why you dont see change. Muslce takes up less room that fat does.
also, make sure you eat breakfast. it kick starts you metabolism so your body can use the food you eat better.

TIP! try running in the morning before you eat anything!! you stomach is empty and your burning ONLY EXCESS CALORIES!!

Keep up the good work and i wish you tons of luck

Try to remember that muscle weighs more than fat, so usually when you first start to work out you won't notice a significant weight loss. You should throw away the scale and buy a nice tape measure and keep track in inches and not pounds. You should measure your body all the way down starting with your bust, under the bust, around the bicep, forearm, waist, hips, thighs, calves and ankles. You have quite an extreme workout, maybe try working out every other day, or if you must work out every day then you should target certain areas certain days. Like Monday do your biceps, abs and quads, Tuesday do your lats, calves and chest, etc,. You should be OK doing the cardio everyday, but just don't over do it. I think after all you've done maybe try going to your favorite store and trying on clothes a couple sizes smaller than when you started, they'll probably fit even though your weight hasn't changed. You aren't the heavy, so it might take a little longer to notice seeing as the results won't be too drastic. Hang in there and you'll get where you want to be, good things come to those who wait.

It varies from human being to human being. some before even as some later. do not complication you'll quickly get closer age and bigger variations will improve. some variations ensue rapidly at diverse a even as, operating example individual B at 11, individual C at 14 and individual J at 15 to 16 and individual S at 10 and 11 months of age. What you would possibly want to do is to devour wisely in share and function an conventional and heavy food routine that is balanced and nutritious. i began noticing variations at 10 to 13. Take care, be effective, stand tall and don't be inferior.

What's most important is how your clothes fit you. But like the others say, hang in there. It takes time. It took me two months before I noticed that I had lost weight. Mostly, I noticed it in my thighs (as in no more thunder thighs!!). And take a closer look at your calorie intake and make sure that you are burning more than you are consuming, which that already sounds like from your post.

Eating more healthy does not necessarily mean you are not eating too much.My dear, eat half portions and keep filling up on water before you eat. That will make a difference in about 2 days.

You've probably already replaced some fat with muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. Be patient and stick with the program. It'll happen. Doublecheck your diet and make sure that you're really consuming fewer calories than you're expending.

it all depends on your metabolism... and most of all, you have to be persistent because 4 weeks is not enough... you should try going for walks but walk in a really fast pace, it helped me tone up my muscles in about 3 months...
greetings and good luck
