Where is a good place near Asheville, NC to get married?

My fiance and I are on a modest budget and looking for a place to get married in the Asheville vacinity. She loves the mountains. Any places people know would be great.

Bull Creek ranch is really very nice. It's quait, has a nice little pond, and it absolutely beautiful for weddings/receptions. You should call them and see if you can find out more info. I found the website, listed below. I'm from just outside of Asheville, and my friend got married there a few weeks ago. What a beautiful wedding...Congratulations!!

you'll have to travel towards tennessee for this one, but not very far. take I-40 west out of asheville. try Big Creek, just inside the NC state border, inside SMNP. theres a waterfall or two, midnight hole (swimming), and a bridge...perfect for a wedding. take the waterville exit, cross over the appalacian trail, pass the dam, and continue up into the mountians...you'll see the signs for Big Creek.

See if you can rent a spot along the Trail or in one of the National Parks in the area.

Biltmore is fantastic, but might be too expensive.

Gatlinburg, TN is only about an hr from Ashville, they have lots of wedding chapels, will do everything from very simple wedding, to more elaborate, prices are very reasonable, check it out.
