stand on your head and hum the national anthem backwards. Then get three eggs, make sure they are from an ostrich or a penguin, and make an omelet. Be sure to add hot peppers to it.. that is the most important part. Eat it all in 5 minutes. After that, run outside and grab your bike. Ride around in only a diaper for 3 hours.
The next day, you should have your period. Make sure you sleep with a 15 dollar bill under your pillow though, because then the period fairy takes it and gives you your period in exchange.

Period is a part of ovarian cycle in female.
When a girl is between 12 and16, ovary starts releasing one egg every month. At the same time uterus starts its function, it starts building blood supply in the wall of the uterus.
If the egg released gets fertilized by male sperm, then it would get
embeded in the uterus wall and start developing as a baby.
But if the egg does not get fertilized, then that egg will pass thru the uterus freely.
The harmons estrogen and progesteron recognize that pregnancy did not take place, so the uterus cleans up all the stored blood from its wall. This is called period.
This happens regularly. And only harmons control it.

If you're just a girl (less than 12) means you have to wait. Some people have to wait almost to 15 years old to get the first one. If this is your case, enjoy!!! trust me is a pain in the butt!
Now if you already had it and is on delay probably is one of these 1. You're pregnant
2. You're under too much stress
3. You're having problems with your cyclo....(in this case go to your doctor, probably he can give you some pills called Provera and you can have your period)...

it will start on its own. when ur body is ready. usually about 18months to 2 years after your breasts start budding (your nipples begin to stick out and get bigger)
