Your diet might be deficient. Are you under a lot of stress? You might want to consider a good muti-vitamin. Mine falls out when I am stressed. Also avoid pony tails. If you recently had a baby it can be normal to loose a lot of hair. Also it might be genetic. Does your mom or grandmother have thin hair? If so, you might find you lose yours as you age. If you are really concerned go see your doctor.

I have the same problem and I'm trying regain now, I don't know if its gonna work cause I need to try it for at least 4 months first. Second thing, I am glad you asked this question cause now I have all those answers to consider, so thank you.
My problem I believe started cause I was dying my hair all the time.
A few things I can agree that helped me: NO flat iron, no blow dry, no tight pony tail, no coloring off course, not to shampoo the hair more then 2 times a week, dont put moisturizers and hair products on the hair.
I did see some vitamins that claim they can help regrow hair. go to wholefoods or the vitamin shop and ask which one is it.
The olive oil is new to me and I will try it soon cause everybody answered to do so.
Thanks again and with God will we will have thick hair again!

I don't think you're going bald but your hair might be really damaged maybe from a lot of coloring or highlights. Buy a deep conditioner and hot oil treatments and just leave it alone for a while about 6 weeks at least. Also cut the ends to remove the damaged parts. Also it might be a lot of heat damage only blow dry your hair twice a week if that's the case, the rest of the time let it repair itself.

Break open a vitamin E capsule and add it to your hot oil.Massage your head with hot olive or coconut oil once a week. Make sure you keep the oil in your hair for atleast 2 hours before washing. Use a mild herbal shampoo. Avoid blow drying and straightening with an iron. Include lot of fresh fruits, vegetable and protein in your diet like tofu and soya milk. Do not stress. Lastly, you could try a homeopathic lotion for the hair called arnicare or kosmeen.

Hormone change could responsible for hair lost. Also stress too. Sometimes certain vitamin deficiency could be the cause. Check with your doc if it gets too excessive. Although about 100 strand a day is consider to be normal. Do look into Nioxin hair products.

there could be many reasons like tension, loss of sleep, anxiety, hormonal imbalance, weather, wrong hair care products or treatments behind this prob . you should find the cause first and then treat it. losing 60-70 hairs a day is normal. but if you are losing more than that then u should go to your doctor.

The first thing you should do is go see a dermatologist,to find out why it's falling out. If your doing anything that isn't good for your hair, like coloring it, perming it,you need to stop.

massage your scalp with olive oil, put on a plastic bag and let it soak in for at least an hour then wash your hair. do not wash your hair every day and try using more natural products than chemicals. try shaving your head once or twice, sounds gross but, you know? shaving makes the hair grow thicker every time. good luck.

If you color your hair STOP. Try using a hot oil treatment on your hair. Stay away from hair spray and hair accessories like ties and clips. If you wear sunglasses do not let them sit on your head if you are not using them. Do not wear caps on your head, let your head breath. Buy a good quality shampoo and creme rinse. If none of this helps, see your doctor.
