I think forgiveness is the only thing that will set you free. If you don't, you'll live your whole life with an open wound instead of a scar. So I say, yes, let's forgive.
(Although it's easier to say it than to do it... and you don't know if you'll able to do it until you experience something like that)

No. There is never an excuse for cheating. Obviously if they cared for you, they never would've gone ahead with whatever they did because they would've thought about your feelings first. Besides, if they've done it once, they'll do it again...and again...and again.
