I mean, look all around you? How can you think that the beautiful earth was created from a "big-bang"? There is even EVIDENCE that the bible is true! Here is some of it:

When archiologists found the walls of Jerico, they had fallen outwards. They were made to fall inwards towards the city. Guess what? The bible says that the walls were supposed to have fallen outwards...just as they were found! Jesus fufilled 61 prophesies in the Old Testament. These were written HUNDREDS of years before he was born! Guess what else Jesus did? He told us about things happening in the future...THEY HAVE HAPPENED! I mean, it looks pretty obvious to me!! Well, what about the torah (muslim bible) or other religions holy books. The bible says that you cannot add or subtract anything to/from it! What are these religions doing? ADDING/SUBTRAGTIONG FROM THE BIBLE, and from the evidence I've found, I would believe in the bible, Christ, and God! I just don't see how y'all don't...

Somethings else you'll find in your bible... The men who wrote the gospels had a hard time understanding Jesus's teachings - there is evidence of this throughout Matthew, Mark, Luke and John; Jesus was forever correcting them and/or trying to expand the limits of their comprehension, and often he was frustrated at their inability to grasp his message. These are the ones who wrote the gospels, who so often misundertood him while he was alive.

And by the way, these are the guys who wrote the gospels *decades after* Jesus's death. Thirty, forty years or more after all they wrote about happened. Odd that they didn't even think about writing about their experiences with Jesus until much, much later.

Paul, who edited the gospels, wrote the majority of the NT and took complete charge of Christianity, never met Jesus.

Paul never discussed morality, laws or anything with Jesus.

It doesn't make sense that Jesus would spend years training his disciples to follow his teachings (when they were able to comprehend it) and then turn around and hand over his religion to a man neither he nor his disciples knew. Yeh, it takes a lot of faith to believe that when your god-given common sense is telling you to be logical.

A lot of what "Christians" believe came directly from Paul. They should call themselves Paulists, not Christians.

Jesus warned about deceivers who would follow him and claim to be speaking for him. He suggested that "scribes" (along with Pharisees and hypocrites) would screw things up. Those who interpret divine law (and put it in writing) could deceive you.

Jesus alluded many times to his belief that his teachings would be perverted and these mistranslations and misinterpretations *would fool many*. He warned that there would be many people who would be shocked to learn, in heaven, that they had spent their lives following someone else's "Christianity" - not his (e.g. Matthew 7:20)

If you embrace the bible as infallible, you may be doing Jesus a serious injustice... according to both historical fact and clues left like breadcrumbs in your own bible.

It is very simple. The Bible holds some truth about certain events, but that is not evidence that the entire bible is truth. The Bible and most of the books are historical fiction in my opinion. You talk about the walls of Jerico, but archiologists have also found cave men. Which contradicts the Adam and Eve story. Also the Big Bang theory and evolution are easier to believe than an all powerful God who is perfect in every way creating the universe and everything in it in 6 days.

evidence that the bible got some stuff right isn't evidence that the bible is one hundred percent accurate.
the quaaran is the muslim holy book not the torah. the torah is the first five books of the bible. when revelations say not to add or subtract anything from it it's talking about the book of revelations. not the bible. the writer of the revelations didn't think of revelations as part of the bible because the bible wasn't put together until like 300 years after revelations was written. until then revelations was just one of many scriptures out there that some people thought to be the inspired word of God along with other scrpitures that are not in the bible

Actually these these religions are not adding and subtracting from the bible. Christianity came LAST!! Christians are the ones that Changed the Bible away from these religions. The Quar'an actually doesnt' add or subtract anything from their bible. Why? They believe that God (Alla) gave the Quar'an to Muhammad, in his exact words (Christians don't believe the bible is the exact words). To alter the Quar'an to a Muslim is like Christian not believing in Christ. Christains are the ones always altering the bible. Look at how many sects there are!! There are only 3 sects of Islam. Actually I would have to say that in general Muslims are more deticated to their religion than Christians are. This being a good thing, I respect them for this. Why? The word Muslim itself means "submission to God." They are reminded 5 times a day of God, as they have to stop and pray to him, facing Mecca, in the Middle of whatever they are doing. They litterally submit their lives to their religion, and life according to what it says. Christians in general don't seem to do this.

Wow. Clearly you've spent quite a bit of time thinking about this and just ended up destroying a few hundred thousand braincells in the process. The result? An staggeringly strange, unsubstantiated and biased grand opus based on one very unreliable document which cannot be proven to be true.

I suppose, if you're lazy enough, you'd only "need" one source for your information...

What matters is that you have your faith to help you sleep at night, to keep at bay the boogeyman of logic and reason. Sleep tight princess, no theories of evolution or big bangs will rouse you from your special little world of impossible pregnancies, torture, or zombies rising from the dead. Shhhhh... Just sleep.

Want me to leave the eternal light on for you? I'll leave the door open a little, just in case you have real questions about the real world.

Say "hi" to the unicorns for me when you talk to God.

i believe...i sometimes don't like what God does in my life but what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. i challenge ne1 who believes evolution to read the Bible with an open mind. for those who believe in the evolutionary theory, all i have to ask is do you believe micro or macro evolution. Micro-evolution is the adaptations and changes within a species while macro-evolution is the addition of new traits or a transition to a new species. we see micro-evolution all the time, but in the history of mankind we have never seen macro-evolution.

then there's those other people that say "well if your God is so good why did he create evil?" he didn't. when you create something you also create the absence of it. no matter what.

the world was made so complex that its almost like someONE made it that way. plus those who believe in the "big bang" also believes in spontaneus generation which is the living organisms coming from non-living things which we all know is not possible.

as for the gospels, they were written by 4 different people with 4 different views...duh. plus it all depends on the version of the Bible too.

First of all TORAH IS NOT MUSLIM BIBLE. It's a Jewish book. Koran is the muslim book. Just because some wall fell outwards(which is perfectly normal) it does not mean that the Big Bang theory is wrong.

dear sister in the lord,

if you are going to have any credibility with the unbelievers you are going to have to start out with accurate information, the torah is not the muslim bible, that is the koran. The torah is the jewish text (old testament).

additionally, i beg you to quit trying to physically prove the existence of our God. I do not think this pleases God. If he wanted there to be concrete physical proof of his existence, he'd just speak to us all audibly.

The biggest way you can witness and show the light of God our father, his son Jesus and the Holy Spirit, is to relate your own personal relationship with the Lord to other people.

If you are asked for proof, tell them you speak to God everyday. Tell them you've heard from him and he shows you the way to go. Tell them you have the inner peace of the lord. Do not point outside of the spiritual, it isn't necessary.

Earth was created from a big bang, and you atoms on left arm that can be 8 billion years old, and atoms on right arm that could be 10 billions year old, all of them formed on the furnace of a dying star.
What are you talking about. Show me your God, tell me to which airport we'll he arrive and when.
