If they do, don't take it personally. Some theists think they're better than other theists, too. It's a personal choice rather than a doctrinal issue.
I believe Jesus is the only way, but that doesn't make me great. I'm not saving myself, I didn't do anything great to earn it. It is His greatness that saves me.

It doesn't take long looking around Yahoo Answers, especially in the Society & Religion area, to find people of every stripe who think they're better than those of every other stripe.
It's kinda sad, really. But once we realize how easy it is to become arrogant, we also realize that we're only three steps away from becoming arrogant ourselves, and hopefully we then refrain from judging. "There, but for the grace of God and/or the continual effort of my own introspection and conscience, go I." :)

No. Not better. We are all sinners and not worthy in God's sight. However, we christians want to follow the great commission to spread God's word throughout the world. We love you and don't want you to miss the opportunity to get to Heaven and worship the Creator.

Have you ever met a wealthy Atheist? I've only met one. He's in prison for insurance fraud. He burned down his million dollar home for the insurance money...So yea, I'm way better off than him!

I don't know if they believe they are better than atheists. I think it's more that they think they are completely right and atheists are completely wrong. (Then again, I think they're completely wrong.)
