if you drink a cup everyday, statr drinking 3/4 cup for few days, then bring it down to 1/2 cup, and then after 3 days bring it down to 1/4th cup. slowly reducing it is better so your body is prepared when you stop it.

You can simply get rid of your habit by not drinking tea.

Tea is really good for you... all the antioxidants and stuff. It also does not have as much caffiene as coffee. It should be pretty easy to wean yourself off of it; just cut back as someone else said. If you drink a lot of it, and stop, you might get an irritated throat, but that should go away quickly.

So what's wrong in drinking Tea? You people make it sound as though drinking Tea is on the same level as drinking Alcoholic beverages - like Beer or Hard Liquour. Tea occurs naturally in nature and has lots of herbal as well as other medicinal effects on one's body. Even though I drink only one cup of Tea, I never add any sugar to sweeten its taste or anything else to it. It's only when you ADD other ingriedirents to your Tea, that's when start seeing its negative effect. So I say drink TEA and enjoy your CUPPA!!!! Saif Ali

You have 2 control yourself . Practise yoga daily and engage urself in some other work just 2 divert ur mind from tea

Go for a really nice tall iced latte instead. However if you pick the right tea you can be doing good health benefits for yourself.

ignore tea take coffee, after a period of time u will get rid of tea.
But dont take coffee after some time.

reduce the amount of tea you drink in an day and then try avoiding it totally afetr sometime, you have to force yourself its not easy

distract urself! go work out!call up some one talk on the phone!play tennis!most imp realise that too many cups of tea aint good!!
