I have the same problems sometimes. It would depend on the engagement. You could make a fashion statement and put on a head scarf, covering the top of your head, or wear a hat or even a headband.
If you have time I would just wash your bangs or the front area of your hair only and quickly blow dry it.

since you know your hair is going to sweat once your body sweats throw your hair up into a ponytail..once its time for your engagement..take out the pony tail & give it a good combing through and you' and your hair will be fine.

If u have some time..put some baby poweder it soaks it up and swish it around in ur hair
