If you believe in God, then isn't God a loving being? Then if God is a loving being, why shouldn't man be loving? What do you think us men are, robots? I agree some men can really seem quite distant, but it's all about psychology. You take that same man and put him in certain uncompromisable situations and he will turn into a cowardly child. I don't care what man it is.

Falling in love does not not make you any less of a man. Not being able to admit that you;re in love is the downfall and it has to be more than just sex.
