can i find out if i'm pregnant in one week??

Question

My husband and i are trying to have our first baby. can i find out if i'm pregnant one week after we had unprotected sex??
I have been getting cramps, light ones for almost 3 days now. No spotting yet though. I do have headachs. This will be my first pregnanacy so i have no idea what to expect. Please help.. thank you.

i am not regular on my periods though, so how would i know ??

Yes to determain tho you will need to get a blood test pregnancy test, the regular ept test will only have a 58% chance of detecting it before your supposed to get your period but it does have a chance if you dont want to go the route of a blood test.

You need to find out when you ovulate get a fertile focus microscope to predict that. You could have had sex but if you were not ovulating then there is no tell!! If you had sex during ovulation time then the chances are higher that you do get pregnant so the first thing you have to do is find out when you ovulate. Then I advise you to use pre-seed lubricant, if you do not lubricate very well, this lubricant does not kill sperm like other lubricants and saliva do. After sex during the time of ovulation, lay down with your legs up for at least 20 min. I'm actually in the same boat as you are but you really need to wait 10 to 14 days for HCG levels to rise to be detectable and then they double every 48 hours. Implantation cramping is possible but not necessarily noted by all or implantation bleeding or spotting is not necessary either for implantation to take place I never had any when I got pregnant with my first daughter. Waiting is tortuous trust me I know if you are anxious to find out. I had no signs when I was pregnant with my daughter only clue was missed period.

no not after one week. You usually have to wait until you have missed your first period which is often 4 to five weeks pregnant. Here in the UK there is a pregnancy test you can do after being 1 day late but i have heard it is very unreliable.

You are best to wait until you know for deffo you are late

Some of the early sypmtoms of pregnancy are very similar to pms. The bleeding you are experiencing could be implantatin bleeding. yes, try a test, I noticed I was bloated and just felt pregnant, even though it wasn't planned. I got spotting when my period was due, but it came to nothing, and I had cramps too, a friend said that they were baby cramps not period cramps, and she didn't know when my period was due, which worried me, as it wasn't planned. My daughter is now 14!

go to the doc. My wife tried four different home tests, and none of them showed she was preggy. Doc said she was, and now we got a girl
