2 choices - have it removed by a dermatologist.....or embrace who you are & what you look like flaws and all. I have a friend w/ birthmarks all up her arms. I overheard my kids asking her about them and she kindly explained that they were Angel kisses. She loves the skin she's in!

I have the SAME thing! Twins separated at birth?? haha Anyway, for years I went through the same thing---not wearing shorts or skirts because so many people would ask "what's that!!?!?!" as if I was an alien or something. Finally I decided to not give a hoot what anyone thinks of my "unique" leg. But still, days when I'm feeling pretty self conscious I use tattoo/birthmark coverage makeup. It's pretty much waterproof. It doesn't disguise totally but you can't see it from far away. Good luck!! :)

Honestly, things are only embarrassing IF you are embarrassed about them. There is nothing wrong with a birthmark. Really. If people stare at it or you because of it, they are just curious, or closed-minded. Either way, you are not in the wrong. I am a caucasian living in Japan and us foreigners still get alot of stares. I have learned to look at it as I would a child who stares. It's not really that they are bad or you are wrong to be different, it's just that they have never seen something like me very often, and sometimes only on TV.

Really, everyone is interested in things that are different. It's up to us to help those who think things are strange, to realize that it is all part of the human condition, and not really strange, just unique.

stop being so damn vain. no one really cares about your birth mark! Maybe in 4th grade someone made fun of you, but as an adult, people should understand that no one is perfect.
As a guy, meeting a girl who had it removed for vanity would be a big turn off.

Dude...like how big is this birth mark?
I have a birthmark on my chest right above my breast. I dont cover it up. Now some people think it's cool becuase they think it's a tatoo... try to flaunt yours...if you can't then maybe cover it up with make up or capris.

How big is the birth mark? Can you hide it with a tattoo or make up? You can make a creative tattoo and that would look cool.
if it is on ur ankle wear some jewelry to hide it.
Use make up to cover it.

Hang in there. Don't be self-conscious. As you get older, the less and less people even care about that birthmark. Trust me, I have one on my foot and as an adult, no one, absolutely no one cares about that birthmark.
And for those "kids" that make fun of it....
Yes, I said kids because those who make fun of a birthmark are being childish and stupid. Don't worry about them. They're acting as a child and will continue to be that way until they wise up.

U shouldn't be embarrassed, u should actually be proud of it, not many have it. I have a huge one on my right arm n i luv showing it to my friends, n see their reaction, like oh my God, what happened, then i proudly say it is a birth mark!
