I would recommend V on deansgate, the music is on the cheesy side but the crowd are on the whole happy and the music makes me happy too.

wb's - is an awesome club - I stumbled upon it last weekend for the first time by accident and loved it. It doesn't really look like it from the outside, but inside is really nice and the people are very attractive (student/young professional mix).
