For sure! On the TV show Survivorman, Les, the main charactor, is forced to eat one to survive. He simply put it on a stick and roasted it over a fire. He said the only part he did not eat was the skull.

i know that geckos are in the small lizard family but as for as eating them no i think its a matter of choice.
