in my country people eat much more for dinner,not breakfast.So why?

Because eating at night makes you fat and eating a good breakfast increases your metabolism and keeps you going throughout the day.

The truth is, if you eat a big dinner, usually people sit and watch tv or whatever. If you eat a big lunch, you are going to burn it off during the day hours. I am in the US and dinner is the biggest meal but breakfast really should be. My problem is - I'd have to have breakfast about 10:00 in order to eat a "good one" as I'm not hungry first thing in the morning. I can't get anyone to let me leave work for a good cooked breakfast. LOL

It is not so much that you should eat more for breakfast but that you should eat a healthy breakfast versus not eating a breakfast at all. A healthy breakfast boosts your energy throughout the day and keeps you from wanting to eat a huge lunch or really unhealthy snacks. Eating breakfast also helps speed up your metabolism which makes it easy to lose weight.
My dinners are typically larger than my breakfast but I've learned to not skip breakfast because I don't feel well the rest of the day if I do.

don't know why they eat more at dinner in your country rather than the US, however I've always been told that you need to eat a bigger breakfast than dinner because your body has been fasting (sleeping) for the past 8+/- hours & it helps to get you off to a good start to your day to have the energy you need to make it through

if you eat a great breakfast it can help you through the day and you work it of cause you move allot.if eat allot at night you don't do much,you eat go sit in front of the TV and then go and sleep:what happens to the food you ate?it turns in to fat because you don't burn it.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it sets your metabolism off. It's not necessary to have a huge breakfast but it's better to have your main meal early in the day so that your body can burn it off better. If you have your largest meal in the evening, it takes longer to burn off because most of us do very little activity in the evening. We tend to just relax after our hard day.

Because if you consume the large amount of calories early in the day, you burn that throughout the day. If you eat a big dinner, you have less time to burn the calories before you sleep, so then the calories get added to your fat volume, so you gain weight.

its better 2 have gr8 breakfast becoz it gives u enrgy 4 da whole day & its better not 2 have great dinner becoz we generally not do activity after it & than it results into fat; dont mind but u & ur country people should change da habit

better to have good brekkie to set u up for the day and get the metabolism going, a big dinner just sits in your tummy all night and u usually end up putting on weight

it is better to have a nice healthy breakfast in the morning while your body is active than a nice dinner while your body is tire and ready for bed that cause obesity .
