Why does dog like to roll itself over the sofa?

It's not that a dog likes the feeling, it's that a change has occurred with the scent. Either someone has sat on there or something has been placed there. My dog does it when you put the carpet deodoriser on the floor.

(My little bro says it's cuz she wants to smell purdy :P)
