Why do guys hate 'bigger' girls?

I know most of them LOVE skinny girls but thats not me! I always feel people judge me for being Curvy. It's so frustrating. Is there a reason for it, like peer pressure to have a stick thin gf or something?

guys dont hate big girls.. guys just like attractive bodies.. and what is attractive varies accross the world, but culture influences what is attractive at the time..

I think stick thin girls are not attractive, but obese girls are just as bad.. and as a very athletic person, I am not attracted to someone who is clearly not.

Curves are good, rolls or ribs are bad!

Its a thin obssessed world and its not men alone that are cruel to 'bigger' women its women too. Society just has this image of how a woman should be and when you're just a little bit different from that, they judge you harshly for it. However, there are some really cool guys (very few) out there that just don't give a damn what you look like. Go for those, those are the kind of 'men' you want to hold onto. Its not exactly easy for skinny girls either, I mean they have to work at it just to be thin and then when you get a little too thin they want you to put on weight. Frankly we're too busy being something we're not and too obssessed with the image we project. Enjoy being you to the fullest extent and forget about what people say, I've learned that lesson.

I'm curvy like you ( but also paper thin but im not where u can see my ribs ) but guys have the nerve to say they don't like bigger girls just to be in the better groups, have you noticed that popular jocks have skinny gfs which isn't cool at all and just remember its whats inside not out and one day the right guy will come along who doesn't care what u look like he'll care for you cause what ur really like

I don't think guys hate big girls, as a matter of fact, I have several male friends that prefer bigger women.........its just a preference thing.......but yes I do agree with you that it could be a peer pressure thing for some men to prefer a stick thin girl.....look at the media and the way it glamourizes sickly skinny women!

Wha!!!?? There are tons of men who love curvy bigger girls. You're looking in the wrong direction, honey. Believe me, guys talk about you all the time. But on the other hand, hopefully you're exercising and stuff. You know how terrible it feels to touch a skinny, stick-thin girl? They're all bones. Ewww. Change your own attitude about your body, and you'll find guys lining up to meet you.

I don't believe that all guys like skinny girls. Some do like the more heafy size women. If you think about guys likes the curves not sticks. So what ever you are going through just remember that, and your time will come when you find someone special to spend the rest of your life with. I'm curvacious too girlfriend, but i found that guys love us.
They think we have the best personalities and that we're cute and cuddly. Apparently; i quote from an answer i received 4rm a guy "the last thing we wanna feel is a pelvic bone."

The way society makes us perceives things has alot to do on what is considered desirable in this day and age. The media portrays very thin, athletic people as the definition of beauty, but in the real world, most people don't actually go by those mostly unrealistic "standards". A girl with a good personality, a girl who likes to take care of herself, and takes pride in her appearance-regardless of her size-will do very well in the dating game.

This is simply a fact of life. Men are visual creatures and we think thinner women are more attractive. I don't find stick thin women attractive. I guess it depends on how curvy you're talking about. I agree with the previous comment. It's not attractive when you have fat rolls hanging out. That's not sexy.
