Well i don't really think there is a difference because your parents teach you things just as teachers do. The only thing that might be different is that you live with your parents and mot your teacher (unless your parent(s) is a teacher). We get our traits and everything from our parents, we also gain knowledge from our parents just as we do teachers.

Parents have a full-time responsibility for raising their children, even while they're under the temporary care of teachers. A parent is responsible for ensuring their children are safe while they are in school, as well as in every other aspect of their lives. A teacher, on the other hand, is only responsible for children while they are in their classrooms or "on their watch". And furthermore, a teacher is not responsible for every aspect of a child's moral and physical upbringing. They are only responsible for trying to impart certain knowledge to the children they teach. A parent's responsibility encompasses all aspects of a child's life: moral, physical, spiritual.

A parent is a kind of teacher, a teacher is a kind of parent, otherwise, it depends on who the actual person is with the set title; just because you are technically a parent or a teacher, doesn't mean they do their ideal job. We have a saying in the custodial department here: "Just because your a janitor, doesn't mean you know how to clean."

Teachers get paid, parents do it for free. We have to teach them what they are to learn in school though. Most teachers don't care and the ones that do have to watch what they say or they will get sued by the money hungry parents that are looking to get rich quick!

nothing ..... there is a saying I always hear about which says " the parent is the worst teacher" as a parent always spoils his or her children so the children not all the time listen to him or her . the teacher who is not your parent is just a bit tougher . that's all . both of them want what is good for you.

There might be no difference. Parents can function as teacher, and teacher can function as your parents. Unless you count the biological factor, then your parent might be your biological one.
