Hell no! I have 5 kids to show for it. If any thing when you come off of them you'll have better chance of getting what may or may not be ready for. So be careful

I don't know if it can reduce fertility, but I do know that after taking it for several years you need to make sure to let your doctor know if you are having different menstrual cycles. I had been on the same pill for six years and all of a sudden my periods were getting worse and lasting longer. After the gyno changed my pills, I am doing fine now

Every girl I know goes off them for a while if they've been on them for a long time.
I guess it's still a THING about taking a pill for a year. I'm an anti-drug person. What I mean by that is I don't like ANY drugs including aspirin so I understand your need to get off of them for a while.

I was on the pill for nearly six years, then we decided to get pregnant. I stopped taking the pill in August and we got pregant in October. For me there was not fertility reduction.

Your ok, if you still worry ask a doctor to take a look. I know when you want to have kids you have to be off the pill for 3 months before conceiving.

No that is a myth. As soon as you go off it you will be just as fertal as you were before you started taking it. Other health factors such as poor diet would decrease the chances but that has nothing to do with birth control. Lol, I am so ready to go off of mine for good. I am tired of the bloating and cramps.... grr... I have them now and it isn't even near time for my period. Best wishes!
