"Source" and "destination" drives aren't hard-coded settings. In your CD burning software, you can usually tell it where your source material is coming from and where you're writing to. If you only have one CD/DVD drive in your computer, then your source and destination drives will be the same. But if you have more than one, your destination will always be your burner and your source will always be your other one (this is assuming that you're copying CD to CD or DVD to DVD, not from hard drive to a CD/DVD).
