Tawney in cold weather, ruby in warm. Better yet, skip the cheap stuff and stick with well-aged vintage Port.

Tawny definitely although I had some nice vintage ruby yesterday at a Portuguese wine tasting but it still needed some time.

Vintage Tawny is my favourite though any vintage port will be tasty regardless.
