Yeah, There are alot of names to chose from on the web. When I got my puppy thats what I did. Just go to google and and on some websites you can put what kinda dog it is, and they give you a long list of names that match that type of dog. Its fun and kills time, even if you dont chose one of thoes names

Just find a uniqueness about him...and use it to come up with the name.
Like when we got one of our dogs...it was after a whole day of the kids whining and begging for him...HIS NAME BEGGAR
another one...we got a dog he was the biggest pup in the litter and heavy...HIS NAME TUBS....My kids brought home a stray kitten....Name ANNIE (like little orphan Annie)
Just think about it....what unique quality does he have?

I heard you should pick a 2 syllable name so the dog doesn't confuse it for 1 syllable words associated with commands, such as sit or stay.

I would get to know the dog, then choose a name that fits him.

You could call him Goliath. Zues. Tiny, Squirt, Speck, Biggy....

There's website with long long lists of dog and cat names.

Good luck!

Some dogs just seem right with certain names. Watch tv, read books, anything that strikes you as unique to your dog.

I pick something that fits it's personality, and something that is original. Get to know the little guy somewhat, and a name will come to you

See what his personality is like, and find something that fits. Try not to have it end in "no" because that might confuse him. Good luck with the new dog! =D

i would suggest picking a name with the dogs personality. if its calm call it a name that stands for the puppy being calm. example my dad my pitbull puppy (who now is 2) sober cause the puppy was so calm.

watch the dog. pay very close attention. don't try to think of a name. and the name will come to you. keep doing this until you find the right one. you will know when its right.
