I really love him, but cannot accept that. Been crying every night. Tell me what to do.

Kick him out. Realize he is a jerk and didn't deserve you. Move on. Don't cry over him anymore.

I'm sorry that you had this heartbreak. Here's a two-part answer to your question.

1) Those who simply say "dump him" are probably teenagers. In fact, lots of ultimately happy relationships have survived infidelity. However, I would suggest you go two weeks without talking to him. If he calls you and really demonstrates regret, then open the door a bit. Then tell him how his infidelity destroyed your trust and broke your heart. Then tell him your expectations. Tell him that you will forgive but that you will never forget.

If he does indeed ask for your forgiveness, you need to tell him how to win back your trust. If he does that, however, you cannot throw this episode back in his face everytime you two have an argument. That will be as sure a way to destroy your relationship as the infidelity itself.

If he does not ask you forgiveness, or only makes a token attempt at it, then you already know the relationship is beyond salvage. Right now, it's difficult for you to realize that this may have been for the best, but it's better to find out that you have a cheater on your hands before you get married than after.

2) Before I tell you this, remember that this is ALL HIS FAULT. However, I take a cue from your Yahoo ID that you devote extraordinary amounts of time to your work. Is it possible that your boyfriend/husband was feeling neglected? I know that it is never justifiable. However, even the strongest person can stray if faced with prolonged periods without the person he/she loves in life.

Good luck. Be strong.

You already said it, "cannot accept that!" You know it is over, now you can greive for the relationship, but you have to move on. That is something that will never go away and no matter how you try, you won't ever forget it.

If you love him, talk to him about it calmly. Then make your decision after consulting people whose opinion you trust (not YA answerers).

If you are truly a workaholic - could you consider being home more often? It doesn't make him any less wrong but maybe it'll help if you are the one in his bed.

Take it from someone who has been there- Once a cheater ALWAYS A CHEATER. Don't waste your tears. He's disrespected you and it's time to move on. You'll never mentally get over what he did even if you got back together so cut your loses.

I don't know what you should do, but if I walk in on my boyfriend, in bed with another woman, it will be the last time he'd see me. I won't accept his doing to me what I would never consider doing to him...
