when today v r having answer to every question like origin of earth, origin of human, his evolution, existence of all forms of life thro scientific reasoning with experimentation and valid proofs then y do religion and people keep stressing on the existence of some almighty or supernatural power who according to them has created everything.they dont have even indirect proofs 4what they say and if some argument breaks with them ,they just end up giving confusing and unreasonable statements.even the people who have studied science n r having careers in science do the same, ignoring the theory of evolution of life n other things they studied? what is the logic behind their thinking?

The Bible has already been proven. Through science. There are things that have not been proven. But it has never been proven wrong. Every scientific artifact that has been found relating to the Bible has just proven the Bible to be more accurate. Science doesn't scare us... it backs us up...

Besides... didn't the "BIG BANG theory" odly enough, sound just like the story God told. It's like the way we believe we got here... minus the God part. It's the worlds way of saying that we were right... but taking God out of the equation.

Also, on Darwin's death bed... he asked the Lord to be his savior... and for God to forgive him for the things that he had done... doesn't sound like that was such a SURE thing to me... ??

Evolution? Ha! Don't make me laugh!
I suppose that when you die your going to turn into a pig too right?

Perhaps the problem is not with them. They look around at all the wonders of this world and they clearly see this was not an accident...a piece of rock floating through space that just happened to find it's place to begin.

All things on earth have a beginning and an end. So why would anyone believe that the earth, where we live, would not follow that trend.

Evolution is just that. Things change and everything on earth has that ability to do so. So why does that mean to you there is no god...that the earth could not have been created by God and then allowed over millions of years to be where it is now.

If you have the perfect answer to where it all begin...and there was no Divine being that created it in whatever form it was then why do you worry about other peoples belief's?

You are right the more science knows the more they understand that this was not all just an accident. If what they see tells them this then why can't you see it?

People will defend to the death what they have had drilled into their heads ever since they were born. Science or religion, they will fight the opposition even if there is proof. They can't deal with the fact that something they have known to be true all their lives may actually be wrong. People had a hard time believing the Earth was round or that the sun was the center of the solar system. With religion, it can get very violent. Look at the Crusades. Wars today have been fought over religious differences. It's called being narrow-minded.

Unfortunately some of your basic premises are incorrect.

We do not have the answer to every question otherwise scientists would be out of a job.

We do not have the answer to the origin of the earth and humans. We have guesses based on assumptions, but we do not "know".

We have never seen evolution and creation of new forms of life, so no experimentations have occurred that worked to create life.

I believe in God because of the general revelation of nature around us and the special revelation of the Bible. Based on the Bible and using the same original facts that evolutionists use, I can come up with my own theories on creationism.

I recommend reading some articles from some scientists at this site:

Geetika, first of all i dont think pious people believe in gos but people believing in god are pious and who told you the scientists who studied science and the world told us there was no God.Trying going through the life of Albert Einstien or anyother people , they all say that they believe in God and they know that all cannot be explained. There are mysteries in the world which cannot be unravelled by science.

Do you know the story of the Pharaoh who crossed the sea when Moses was taking the people across. They say that he perished in the water and God had said that his body would never be destroyed. He did this becase he wanted Pharaoh o remain as the biggest proof for God's existence. And as you said more than bieng indirect this is a direct proof of God's existence. No scientist has ever proved it wrong. And so it happened. They reacovered the body months later from the sea untouched by the fish or any sea creatures and he still stays in the Egyptian museum just the way as he was found in the water without anything bieng embalmed on.How do you explain that?

Power of myth, money, fear of the unknown, control, brainwashing are some reasons.

Sadly most societies are based on these assumptions & false mythological beliefs. It's easy to say "God's wish" for Birth, sickness, death, suffering, disasters etc.

In all cultures there's the Gods rep. These God's reps had full control over ppl and got paid in the past. Mostly the ruler was the God's rep. Today, isn't the Catholic church one of the RICHEST organizations. Of course the Pope is God's rep.

In order to keep the money flowing they have to keep ppl under control in fear of death, hell etc.

There is no logical thinking for the followers but they THINK what the religions PROGRAMMED them to think.

The worst is how religions have hypnotzed and brainwashed innocent ppl to believe nonsense to control them. When somebody else tries the same trick they cry CULT.

What is the logic behind your thinking there is no God? You cannot prove someone's position is incorrect by raising unproven theories yourself.

The Bible has NEVER been proven to be wrong. Not by archeological evidence; not by historical evidence; and certainly not by its very words. In fact, the Bible contains over 3,000 fulfilled prophesies.

Even Darwin confessed, in his later years, that evolution is not likely. Most Darwinists conveniently overlook that. If you think I'm wrong, look into his statements about the probability that evolution resulted in the eye's development.

Even science has not proven itself beyond a shadow of a doubt that is why it is called theories. I find it a lot easier to believe that I was created by someone or something rather than I evolved from basically nothing.

You can equally ask: Why do unpious people believe in god. Because they do as well.

Otherwise, the "logic behind their thinking" is that there is no proof of god - meaning, no proof of an objective reality. Meaning that the only truth is subjective, or that which lies within.

honey, if you can tell me where these gasses came from, then there might be a bit of evidence but since there really isnt, then I'll just stick to my religion. BUT IF YOU REALLY THINK YOU HAVE THE EVIDENCE, I'M SURE YOU'LL BE INTERESTED IN SOME MONEY $250,000..JUST GO TO THIS SITE:http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/hovind.html

ALL EVOLUTIONIST SHOULD PARTICIPATE..you'll see there's no true evidence. So, evolution remains a THEORY NOT a FACT.
