Im 19 but i think my level of 'intelligence' it's the one of a 12 year old if not less. I met my step-father at 6 years old but i've never been proud of him and i never loved him or iven concidered him as a father, i don't know why because he is such a good person. I left school at 16 so i haven't got much education, now im looking for a job. I don't have any friends and i can't get a girl, i drink lots of alcohol sometimes. I cry a lot and sometimes i feel like i hate me and everyone, the hate grows inside me till it makes me cry. This summer my mum and step-dad invited me to a holiday with them in a place full of youth, i don't know i don't feel like going because i can't talk to no one, im shy with girls and i can't talk to them, so what do i go for..Have you ever had this problems? Any suggestions?

You deserve to be happy but you need a good strategy to do so. First step is to figure out why you are so unhappy. You probably are depressed and may need medication. (By the way, the medication you need can be a simple as vitamin B 12. ) To get to the bottom of things start seeing a therapist. Work part time if you have to in order to pay for it. As for the drinking you are doing it as a drug substitute to ease your pain or avoid actually dealing with things. Stop if you can. If you can't go get free help at Alcoholics Anonymous. The sooner you take these the steps the sooner your life will go better. You can be happy if you try. Good luck.

First of all you need to finish high school and over there you can talk with a counselor. You are 19 and people won't find too much of a difference with 16 year old students. It is just 3 years difference. Also, there are vocational high schools that you can enroll at if you want , and you can get prepared for a job that you like after finishing high school. I think this vocational high school idea will fit good for you and I think you will enjoy your experience there!
Think about that you will have access to a regular school, gym facilities (you can play a sport), new friends, laboratories, manual experiences, etc...you will definetely grow there.

first of all i'm proud of you for making it this far. just try to get a job so you can support yourself. you should try going to nite school or adult education classes or maybe try to get your GED. you shouldn't drink b/c alchohol just makes it work it brings your mood down and then it makes you cry and feel worse about the situation. since you are shy how about trying to make friends first and once you are comfortable being social with people it will be easier to approach girls. good luck and don't give up hope it's not too late.

you just gotta start small somewhere and work your way up. Focus on getting a good job and enjoyable life, then go try to meet girls. The best thing is just to go out and do it no matter how scared you are, you'll mess up the first couple tries but you'll learn from your mistakes.
