I can not remember any long-term events. Yesterday is even a blur. I cant remember any holidays, my old school, my dog that died two months ago (I cant remember ever being with it) or any event that would be normal to remember. I remember THAT things happened, usually, but not things actually happening. Its like living my life in limbo, a very hard thing to do. Is it repressive memory cus I want to remember this stuff and ive tried my hardest to remember? I need pictures of events to remember them, otherwise I will have no memory. Perhaps this is normal in most people and Im being silly, but it scares me to think that I wont remember my wedding or kids being born etc. Can you help?

Go to a doctor, and tell him what s going on with you. Perhaps, he/she will order a MRI or a CAT scan of your Brain. Medical history,of your family could play a part of it. Look in the phone book,if you don't have a doctor& set up a appointment VERY SOON!
P.s be sure to tell the doctor EVERY THING that has been going on with your health!
Do Not Let It Go On, not checked!!!!!!!!
I'll pray for u, intill then...God Bless

I think you should get it checked out by a specialist in case there is something affecting the part of your brain working with memories. Another possibility is that you have a dissociative disorder. I can relate to a lot of the type of stuff you mention so I take a lot of notes and make lists .. when I was working I would write down everything I had to do the next day, at what stage various jobs were at, cos I was never sure if I would know what I'd done the previous day. Most of my childhood is a blank and big parts of my adulthood. It makes life complicated .. I end up lying and pretending a lot that I remember stuff when I actually have no clue what people are talking about.

Memory disorder
There are several different types of memory disorders which occur in the human mind. Among these are less severe disorders including minor short term memory loss, and the eventually incapacitating Alzheimer's Disease.

You may have some form of dementia or it could be something resulting from an underlying medical condition. My father was recently diagnosed with diabetes and he has a horrible time remembering things. When his sugar is high or he has sudden large changes in his sugar, it affects his memory. You need to go see your doctor and tell them what you are experiencing. They can run tests to get to the bottom of the problem.

I get the same thing. Not quite so bad as yours but can't remember experiencing things in the past, just know that they happened. I just assume it's a characteristic of my brain / personality and it's not a problem unless I make it one. Friends and family know I won't remember stuff if they ask me about it. As long as it's not getting progressively worse, you shouldn't worry too much about it.
