What you need to make sure you realize is that "free" food on weight watchers is free because of the low calorie content...

So its free for the first serving or so...

Say you were eating something with 25 calories 0 fat 0 dietary fiber

1 serving= .5 points (which is technically free because it is less than 1 point)

2 servings= 1 point

So actually these free foods are free because the first serving (in some cases two or three servings) fall below one point.

There is a really good, free weight watchers calculator online (as well as a free downloadable version) at http://www.alexnolan.net it will give you points down to the .1 so you know how "free" things really are

Good luck I hope I helped :-)

"Free foods" generally have so few calories, they can't even register a point. (Points are per every 20 or 25 calories, I think, maybe it's more.) Cukes and tomatoes are good choices because they're full of water - but how many of them do you have to eat before they register points? That's the question. www.fitday.com says that one medium cucumber has about 24 calories and 1 medium (2 3/5 inch diameter) has about 25 calories. The calories are kind of a guesstimate.
Make sure how many calories are in a point and then go crazy! You can have a heck of a lot of these for so few points that it's worth it!

Weight watchers uses a point system- depending on your weight you are given a certain amount of points each day. The free foods have no points and you could eat then whenever you want

Those "free foods" are those which are zero points on their scale, so yeah, you can eat those all day long and not have to count the points.
